One minor consideration is that the bowl can take a bit of extra time to fully dry when collapsed, especially around the splash guard area. That said, this hasn’t outweighed the overall functionality and ease of use. Enjoying the quality of this dog travel bowl! The material feels sturdy yet flexible, and I don’t have to worry about any weird plastic smell or residue. I have an adult bull terrier that drinks tons of water. With other travel bowls he will somehow collapse them when drinking. That hasn't happened with this design! The splash guard is a nice plus to messy drinkers and eaters! Also, must mention that the metal-free clip loop is a smart touch too—no rust or jingling when we’re on the move. It cleans easily, dries fast, and has held up beautifully thus far.

The lip is great at keeping splashes to a minimum, but I am left wondering How well that area will dry when the ball is collapsed. I was able to lift it filled to the top and it is sturdy enough that it didn’t collapse and spill all over, a very helpful benefit, indeed
