We've been using another nice product as a treat for years! However, once we decided to add another different type of treat, the pups decided that this was the way to go! We will be getting more of these, and now they are trying and loving the new flavors! Great for training, and great for doggie happy hour!
My dog truly loves these. They are probably the highest value reward that we have for service dog training, that is pre-made (not a human food such as cooked chicken). HOWEVER... These are not the best choice for keeping in a treat pouch. In 24 hours or less they start getting hard to the point where they are like little rocks. And you also need to be careful not to crush the bag for your treat pouch or these will crumble. It is nice that they do come apart when fresh so that you can feed smaller amounts. But that becomes impossible in a short time once they hit air! Therefore these are not our favorite treats to take out and about while doing service dog tasks or training. We keep them tightly sealed at home. Even opening and closing the bag often will cause them to dry out. On the one hand you don't like to see a lot of preservatives used in food items, even if it's just occasional treats... But these could probably use something that would keep them softer longer. So they get an absolute five star review as far as my dog is concerned, which is what I based it on. But they can be Tricky Trainers, for sure, as far as keeping them fresh! **This brand also comes in a hard treat that I find to be superior for long training sessions or if we are out and about town running errands!**
I’ve purchased these for my pups for years but the formulation recently changed and I don’t think for the better. The new formulation has a very unpleasant odor that stays on your hands, even after washing. They are a darker color and smell nothing of peanut butter like the original formula. I will be looking for new training treats.
We have been buying these treats for over 6 years. My dogs loved them. However, they won’t eat the new and improved taste treats. They smell odd too, not like peanut butter.
My pup prefers these peanut butter treats to others. Probably because they are a bit stinky haha! But definitely a favorite and great for training.
Second time ordering this flavor. Last time they were soft and brown. This time they’re hard and black. Smell odd too. Don’t feel good about feeding these so in the trash they go.
These have been so helpful in training our dog. I use them to let her know she has to sit before we cross the street, and she knows she has to do it to get one. The perfect size so we don’t feel like we’re over feeding her, and a good selection of flavors.
My dog , who is very fussy, loves these and obeys when he knows he’ll get one.
so odd, my dog loves peanut butter but not these. hard tounderstand.
I'm teaching one of my young dogs to do freestyle heelwork. This type of training requires daily practice and I didn't want to add too much quantity of edibles to his daily intake resulting in weight gain. These are small and easily portable as well as low calorie. My dog really likes them as far as I can tell. He is willing to do a lot of work when the bag comes out.
