I bought this for my dog to ride up front in my RV. He has a seat belt but this allows him to lay down on our journey. The storage really was an added benifit

Complete disappointment
Keep looking! The dividers inside are made of flimsy, uncovered black cardboard, cardboard that’s about a third of the strength of a pizza box. The top is not padded
Keep looking! The dividers inside are made of flimsy, uncovered black cardboard, cardboard that’s about a third of the strength of a pizza box. The top is not padded. If any dog bigger than a chihuahua steps on this, it will cave in. The cardboard would disintegrate at the first sign of rain, snow, wet paws, or a spilled water dish. It zips all the way around and is about the same height as the car seat hence the one star. This will definitely be returned.
