Great until...
I loved this product; for a leather leash it was great and bendable, until my puppy between 15-20 lbs pulled one too many times—it snapped at the handle. Turns out it’s leather wrapped around a rope. Useful and so lightweight for a dog that doesn’t pull a lot though, so it was a hit (until it was a miss). Loved the smaller latch size too-it added to it being light for him still getting used to a leash. Ended up getting another leather leash but from another company and a size up since he’s grown and this one is pure leather-not rolled around a rope.
Just right
The new leash is just right in length, and the leather is soft. The red color is perfect for my dog’s style.

Light and comfortable
This leash feels nice in your hand. Good for dogs 20lbs or less. I bought the shorter version and it keeps me in control of my Chorkie. There is one thread that is coming loose at the loop. I think I caught it in time. I don’t think it will come unraveled.
