Well it’s longer than I wanted despite length in description. And there is nothing special about leather. Doesn’t really look like leather.
The leather is really soft, and it’s a comfortable fit for my dog and my hands. I’m training my 8 month old Spinone puppy to walk well on the leash, and it’s a great leash for this. It is important for the dog handler to be trained in how to use a choke collar properly.
Love this slip lead! Duncan weighs 15.5lbs. It is bulky enough for him to notice when he pulls, yet is very easy to use. Very comfortable on the hands
I purchased this for a very furry Great Pyrenees. She basically has a lion's mane that gets tangled and matted very easily if she wears a collar. She's a senior, so she doesn't go anywhere too often, but I do need to take her to the vet for regular check ups and bloodwork for her thyroid medication. This leash is the perfect solution. The leather is super soft, it is easy to adjust and is quick and easy to use, and it doesnt tangle her fur. I love it and so does my dog.
Cheap. Looking for a solid leather slip leash. This is thin, rolled and cheap, like it's been plastic coated. Would not recommend.
