I like the short lead, just what I was looking for.

Sadly, it seems to be of a "synthetic" nubuck finish. Was desiring a "genuine leather" smooth finish, rolled lead...kinda like something you can find on a horse

Adopted 75 lb/10 month old GSD who'd had very limited leash training. This leash allows 'Bob' to actually feel and respond to the direction & walk speed I need from her. The handle is very nicely padded so theres zero hand/wrist discomfort for me, even during 60 or 90 minute training walks. She's now a perfect walking companion, after just a few miles of training!

For high traffic/congested walking areas, it allows comfort while walking without gathering up extra length. It's an above average quality leash. I will probably be buying a couple more to gift. You won't find it at pet stores. Thanks Chewy.
