I got this collar because it was super cute but its not a true breakaway. It has elastic that stretches and takes force to breakaway. The quality is also bad, it is very thing. Nadja currently has a res dingo collar which is a similar price but imo much thicker and better quality, has stood up to wear and is a true breakaway. Not to shill another brand. I wouldn’t recommend this collar personally and will not be using it on my cat.

Technically "breakaway"

These are really cute and I wanted one for each of my roommates but I was really disappointed when I got them. At first I didn't think they were breakaway collars

These are really cute and I wanted one for each of my roommates but I was really disappointed when I got them. At first I didn't think they were breakaway collars since I've never seen one like this, appearing as a standard non-breakaway one. In order for the collar to disengage you have to exert a lot of force, far more than previous ones I've had. In addition to that, there is an elastic component which will snap back. In my opinion, this is a poorly designed collar and to call it a breakaway is literally and figuratively a stretch. I personally feel that this is not a safe product and would direct you to others.

I bought this collar for my cat and the nighest concern is the elastic thats added to it for "stretch". This collar does not fit snugly because there's stretch to it, when my cat tried to groom herself while wearing it her jaw actually got stuck in the collar because it wasn't snug and cannot fit properly. Kitty is okay now but it freaked her out pretty bad and i cannot feel comfortable with this collar at all. Chewy's customer service team did a wonderful job getting my money back to me, but i can't recommend this collar because of how quickly it got dangerous for my pet.

Nice Flexibility

I like the little elastic black part to ensure the collar is snug, but not uncomfortable for the cat. The buckle is pretty strong too!

Didn't last

The material of this collars was very cheap and didn't last very long and my cat is an indoor cat. You cat see the skulls anymore let alone the the color. Not worth
