There should have been a measurement for around the backside of the dog’s head. I have this medium muzzle on the loosest setting for my 54-lb mixed breed - she has room to breathe and she’ll be able to wear it for her quick potty breaks so she can’t eat rabbit poop (the only reason we bought it), but I wish it could be loosened just a smidge more since it’s a little tight around her neck.

Our dog is 18 months old and eats EVERYTHING on the ground if you are not eagle eye watching him. We bought this to use on walks for those times when he seems like all he wants to do is eat grass, gum, cigarette butts, rabbit poop, deer poop...It's nice because it is mesh and softer, so he can still breathe easily and get all the sniffing he wants without being able to pick stuff up.
