Does this fit over the head?

To put this harness on your pet, slide the front over their head so that it rests on their lower neck. Make sure the metal D-ring is on top of their back. Next, reach under to grab the strap with the clips and secure the clips. Adjust as needed.
what size is best for purebred Bassett hound

We suggest measuring your pet to find the most accurate size. For the length, measure length of pet’s back from the base of neck to the base of the tail. For the neck, measure the circumference of pet's neck for a snug fit as you would with a collar and for the chest, measure girth around the broadest part of the chest. No need to add additional inches. If your pet measures between two sizes, we advise ordering the larger of the two.

Cute harness

Purchased this harness to replace one of the same brand after my dog chewed that up when we weren’t home during a storm. Chose the same because of how each manufacturer sizes them. The tag said medium and fits up to 29 lbs. Dog is 48 lbs and it fits her fine.

AHHHH! Comfort!

Finally a harness that actually fits my cat! After buying 5 different harnesses , this one fits best. It has room around his chest and actually fits over his head without choking him! It is also has the length from neck. to chest that doesn't cut him under his arms. This has always been a problem. No more fighting to get his harness on. He stands still and waits to get it on! Soft, comfortable and easy to put on. LOVE IT!!!!!!

Good quality and as advertised

Nice halter. The only thing I would change would be to make the neck “ring” a buckle closure. With an Elizabethan collar on due to a recent eye surgery, I was unable to use the halter.

Perfect Harness

I have a 5 lb dog and the XXS fit perfect. The harness is exactly what I thought it would be and it is a perfect fit. Any larger dog and you will need to go a size up.

New Puppy harness

This will fit a small puppy , mine will is 5 pounds , fits perfect and has straps that will extend as she grows. hoping it will fit her in adulthood, but I would buy another one if she out grows this harness.
