Our cat takes this collar in stride

New medications had our 18 yr old cat scratching his face raw. To get his skin to heal we tried a “cone of shame” which should be called “cone of pain”. He got disoriented,

New medications had our 18 yr old cat scratching his face raw. To get his skin to heal we tried a “cone of shame” which should be called “cone of pain”. He got disoriented, walked backwards, walked into walls, and couldn’t eat. So we tried this Comfurt collar and it has made a world of difference. He doesn’t seem to mind it at all, goes about his day like usual. If I have any complaints it’s 1) it’s pretty pricey, but worth it to have him live a normal life, and 2) I wish I could get a second cover so I could wash one and still have him wear it. He may be in this for a while til we figure out the meds.

I love that the collar is so adjustable. Though it does come with an adjustable neck collar that loops through loops on the inside, I found this collar difficult

I love that the collar is so adjustable. Though it does come with an adjustable neck collar that loops through loops on the inside, I found this collar difficult to manipulate (this is the XS size), so I removed the collar and instead looped a cloth ribbon through the loops and then just tied this around his neck prior to fastening the outer Velcro strap (which is also adjustable. I was able to finesse the fit for my very tiny terrier (he weighs only 4.5 lbs!)

Boarder Collie (40 lbs). Neck sized correctly for a Medium collar. Fit was perfect. Comfortable for her to wear. Amazing idea but my dog could very very very easily bend down to reach her front foot (area not to be reached). The distance the collar reaches out away from the dogs neck needs to be extended (probably by double - from almost 4" to at least 8"). Unfortunately needed to return this item.

My Puppy actually liked this collar??!

My poor little guy went in to get snipped and was presented with the plastic cone of shame. I quickly realized that being confined to such torrtcher was inhuman

My poor little guy went in to get snipped and was presented with the plastic cone of shame. I quickly realized that being confined to such torrtcher was inhuman. So I purchased this collar and it arrived quickly and saved the day. My little guy loved it and never once tried to take it off. he slept in it, ate his food and drank his water and played with his toys for the whole 2 weeks and never complained. I am truly grateful.
