Bruised my dog, needs a redesign
I have a chihuahua terrier so I ordered the small according to his neck size. I noticed a big bruise on the side of his neck right where the inside of the collar
I have a chihuahua terrier so I ordered the small according to his neck size. I noticed a big bruise on the side of his neck right where the inside of the collar juts out at the fold (see picture). I suspect that every time he laid down or scratched at his neck, the fold uncomfortably hit his neck and caused the bruise . When I compare it to a different collar, the inside of the purple collar is more seamless, which makes it more comfortable for dogs, especially when laying with it on. The collar is definitely designed for bigger dogs, the d ring and buckles are just a little too large for the size of the small collar and there is a lot of excess material that does not need to be there, which is why that fold is there. Overall the fabric is super cute but the design needs more work in order for it to be both functional and comfortable for the fur babies.

Rugged for Small Dogs
So many small dog collars are not sturdy. This one looks like it will hold up for a very long time and is perfect for my mouthy rat terrier pup.
