Buckle won't stay latched

The buckle has come unlatched 3 times. That is unacceptable. After the first time I thought maybe his fur was caught in it and it didnt latch correctly. So I made

The buckle has come unlatched 3 times. That is unacceptable. After the first time I thought maybe his fur was caught in it and it didnt latch correctly. So I made sure it snapped and then I pulled on it to make sure it was secure and no fur was caught. After the 3rd time I figure its the collars fault.
