Couldn't decide between 3 or 4 stars. The flushing design of this waterer really works, but unless you want to waste a lot of water or have to fish out debris, it needs a cover. The way the handle sits on the bucket, however, prevents just being able to set a board atop it. Chickens jump up and it wobbles and falls off, so I have to set a weight on. That keep debris (and chickens) out and the water stays clean with just a quick flush to fill and refresh every few days. So I opted for 3 stars.

This has made my life so much easier with my flock of chickens! I LOVE not having to clean the font/waterer and haul water that I had before. I do wish that it came with a lid or option for a lid though. Maybe different drain hose length options, but these are all things that can be easily resolved with a trip to the hardware store. Everything is MUCH easier than I thought it would be and I’m probably saving water by not dumping out and refilling every time!

Works exactly as intended. Great little solution for avoiding dirty chicken water. The videos that the brand posted perfectly demonstrate the bucket! Our chickens

Works exactly as intended. Great little solution for avoiding dirty chicken water. The videos that the brand posted perfectly demonstrate the bucket! Our chickens don’t use the nipples, they just drink straight from the top. It’s perfect!

Love this but it needs a loose cover.
