This is a cute house but I don't feel that it's high quality or advertised correctly. Dog house? Possibly, but not for the large breeds shown in the ad. It has a tiny door and the floor is 2 flimsy wood pieces that won't hold much weight. I feel this is better suited for chickens, bunnies, or a feral cat shelter if kept out of wind, rain, and snow. The assembly was a challenge. The very first piece with the door didn’t have the correct dowel holes and was missing pre drilled spots for the screws. If you don't have the proper tools you may be in trouble. The wood is thin and flimsy and the floor pieces are thin and left gaps. I did like how the roof opened for easy access to the compartments. I don’t feel that this will survive Wisconsin weather for long unless it's in a sheltered area.

What a well-built Doghouse! (Ok, you have to assemble it, but it goes together easily, and is very sturdy. A Luxury Condo for you Best Buddy! This package is quite heavy, so get help to move it to your build location, or use a dolly or wagon. This is panelized, everything is pre-drilled, and yes, one person can put it together by themself. When I opened the package, I thought, “This looks familiar…” I checked, and my Rabbit’s Luxury Condo, is made by the same company! That has held up extraordinarily well, so I KNOW this Dog House will, as well. Oh, and your Buddy is going to love his/her place. Even the finish on the wood, is Pet-safe, just in case you have a puppy or a chewer. Easy to get into for clean-outs, too!

First and foremost I live in Indiana where the winters and weather are unpredictable this is NOT a dog house that will even begin to work for the harsh weather. It is flimsly the wood is thin and there are serious gaps where everthing was supposed to come together. Now we come to the assembly which if I had not already unpacked everything I started the process I would have returned this item. The instructions are well written but the product versus the instructions is absolutely a nightmare. I had to get my drill out and drill all the holes for the screws that the majority were not even marked where exactly they were supposed to go. I would have given this a zero if I could I would not recommend this product to my worst enemy.
