My 8-month-old tortie Lucy was very keen on this wheel after we first put it together, but after the novelty wore off, she uses it as a lounging place more often than a running wheel. I'm hopeful that as she gets older, she'll use it more as intended.

Easy to assemble but the cats may not use it.

Live and learn, this is definitly for smaller cats and kittens. We had to graduate to a 48" wheel for our Adult cats. This one we donated to a local rescue that specializes in kittens. Measure Measure Measure, get a taoe measure out and hold it up in the room you plan to put it in to see how big it really is.

Thumbs up!

I have to say that, once I realized the diameter size in inches, I planned to return this without opening the box. I'm so glad I decided instead to put it together (it took a hammer tap to get the pieces to fit into place :) It's out on our deck and is actually the right size for a smaller area, and still big enough for my cat. The instructions tell you to use the laser light (don't point at eyes) and the really great feather toy - and treats!) to use as a lite to train your cat to get on the wheel and start walking. The first day, she'd get in it but was unsure of the wheel moving so would get off, til I began using her favorite tiny treats to get her to start walking towards it, one at a time. 3 days in and we are making progress. I'm hoping one day, she'll figure out it's perfect for some high energy exercise as she's only a year old and loves to run through our too small house :) THANKS!

Beautiful conversation piece

They need to use it. They see it. They sniff it. Might have locked it. Use it. No. So it sits, looking pretty while I figure out how to fit myself in it because

Kitty recommended

My 7 year old cats were scared to death of this even when I had it on a no movement mode (the fish stopper). They want nothing to do with it . I even tried some

I even tried some cat nip to entice them but nope not happening. Now I have an oversized item for them that they want nothing to do with. I very sad about it.

Chewy is annoying

Chewy does not let me opt out of review follow-up emails, so until they do, every purchase gets 1 star. It is ridiculous that I get emailed after every single order

Cat Treadmill

It seems to be made well, but I don’t know for sure because my cats will not touch it! Any tips on how to get my cats to try it? I can’t bear the thought of trying

Set up was a bit of a pain, just due to the hard plastic not wanting to snap on. It takes a bit of coaxing to get the cats to use it but they’ve slowly started to

One Cat Loves It, the Other Not Interested At All

We bought this because our Maizey was consistently tipping the catsaurus on it's side so she could make it roll across the floor while inside of it so we thought she would find this engaging. Surprisingly, she won't even put a paw on it, even when we try to entice her with the laser or feather wand that came with it. Aspyn, on the other hand, loves to chase the laser up the side, will use it even without the laser, and will often sit in it trying to entice us to engage the laser. It was definitely bigger than I expected. Aspyn will use it for a few minutes each day. Maizey just likes to watch him. Every cat has their own unique preference, even siblings.
