Unusable

You may be wondering why the wheel is not a wheel and is instead a new blanket. Well, after unpacking the box and counting parts we discovered we were missing 7

You may be wondering why the wheel is not a wheel and is instead a new blanket. Well, after unpacking the box and counting parts we discovered we were missing 7 - yes 7 key wheel boards. After emailing the manufacturer and being told there was no way to provide 7 more boards, I called Chewy and they said they would replace it. But the system isn’t set up to replace before we return this one. And - sadly - we are NOT packaging experts AT ALL. So, we’re contemplating throwing this into a garbage bag and slapping the mailing label on the bound bag to send back for a full refund and not risk getting another with partial parts.

Cheaply made pieces

The cat wheel came in over 100 pieces and the alignment wheels were very cheaply made, we had to essentially break them to make the screws not poke out and scratch

The cat wheel came in over 100 pieces and the alignment wheels were very cheaply made, we had to essentially break them to make the screws not poke out and scratch up the whole thing (not without chipping a line around the outside while it was spinning before we tried to make the screws more imbedded), and the sockets/threads that were pre-installed were already stripping. The screws were different sizes within the same bag. We got it together and working but not without having to refinish chipped pieces and gluing bits. The connector pieces leave gaps all around that our cat could get their paw stuck in. If there was an easy way to refund and purchase elsewhere I would.

Active cat loves it!

I read a lot of reviews saying the setup was difficult so I was worried when I first purchased this wheel, but it was no more challenging than setting up any IKEA

I read a lot of reviews saying the setup was difficult so I was worried when I first purchased this wheel, but it was no more challenging than setting up any IKEA furniture. I'm so glad I ignored those reviews though because my 4 year old cat loves it! He jumped on right away and started running without any training. My other two cats need a little more encouragement, but even the skittish one seems curious so I'm optimistic.

It was fun to put together. The cats watch the entire process. They gave it the customary sniffs once completed. I use their dot to get some of them on it. They started with just two or three rotations on a slow walk. One of them got brave and decided to go for a run. The poor thing got tumbled like clothes in the dryer. It took days for any of them to go near it again. That cycle repeats. It's here to stay!

For the money not bad or if you have a big heavy cat. But next time around will try a different brand.

Great for small dogs

We bought this for our 5 pomchi’s, they love it. I will say to follow instructions on step 1!! Take the plastic center off the top of the 4 guides!! No problems
