Good idea, poor execution

I love the look of this cat litter enclosure furniture. I like the material too. Its looks much nicer in my living room than the cat litter box on itself look. That being said, I regret this purchase and do not recommend it. For it did not fully solve my cat litter being kicked out of the box issue. The entrance area is not high enough, not as high as the litter box lid. Hence my cats are still kicking litter out on my carpet. Furthermore, upon arrival it had a strong smell, and so one of my cats peed on his bed and on the carpet instead of in the litter box. I have two really good cats that never before peed anywhere also than in their litter box. Hence I am truly disappointed about this. I had to throw his bed out and spray and deep clean my living room carpet. I wish to return it but two things keep me from doing so: One: this was not quick to assemble. Taking it apart would be a hassle. Two: I did not keep the shipping box. I truly do not recommend this purchase. PS: this was my first Chewy purchase. Though impressed with the service and speed of delivery, I don't know about the Q & A.

Great for messy kittens

This litter box mostly contains my messy kitten's digging aroun, much better than a regular box. The top part is solid and will hold a human's weight too.

not impressed…

I was really excited to receive this product and it’s definitely usable. But it’s made with super cheap plastic and a lot of the hardware it came with (screws, etc.) had manufacturing defects making assembly a pain. The finished product is what I expected (albeit cheaper and flimsier) but I’m hopeful it stands the test of time. I wouldn’t recommend this to a friend… I would recommend something more durable and made of wood instead of plastic like this.

Way smaller than measurement description. Would have returned it, if the box wasn’t accidentally thrown out

Bench cat litter box

Works great to keep dust down in room, put blanket on top and Oliver sometimes takes naps on top. Looks good too.

Perfect way to hide the litter box!

Looks nice in my apartment and hides the smell of the litter box. Only complaint is there’s holes on each side of the box. I put litter, treats, hair brush etc. on the other side of the divider and just wish you couldn’t see that.

Needs Extra Work

This looked simple enough to put together, however it has some issues with the parts not quite fitting together properly. For the back cardboard portion I had to trim it down on the Right side so it would fit under the top (part A) The locking screws also did not fit together very well and I had to use wood glue to make sure the pieces stayed together. It does look nice from a distance and the cats have figured out how to open the doors (magnet is weak) and go into to use the potty that way. You get what you pay for sometimes and this is not it.

Awesome product !

Love the product and so do my bunnies! Its very easy to build, highly recommend a woman to do it because too much pressure could break it , its very spacious and fits a large litter box, and covers up the smell very well, my bunnies are satisfied especially since they like hiding places and this is perfect ,most importantly love the fact that it looks more like a poshy furniture than a hiding place for your pets poop.

Looks good, assembly tough

For the most part this item is great, once assembled. The attachment of the doors was a bit tough, and the instructions are not clear on how to attach the hinges. Once that was figured out, a power drill was needed to screw them enough in so the doors closed.
