FAQ
Please use a 2.4GHz wireless network. The device does not support the 5GHz wireless network.
Initially charge it then use solar panel. Since it is charged by solar panel, please ensure it accumulates over 12 hours of sunshine per week in sunny days. We suggest installing the solar panel facing full sun.
If the camera has low power, you could choose to use the adapter and cord to charge the camera at home when it is rain.
2.5L.
No, it is compatible with both Android and iOS.
It includes 7-meter infrared night vision, which allows you to see the birds clearly at night.
Yes. Your friends can now get some of the access rights by scanning the QR code in your phone.
The built-in infrared lamp beads make the camera only show some dim red lights when night vision is activated, but the image quality is still clear under no light environment.
After testing, the Wi-Fi connection distance can normally reach up to 220 meters in the open area. However, the actual situation depends on the strength of Wi-Fi and its surrounding environment (thick walls, electromagnetic devices, large metal objects will all cause interference to the Wi-Fi signals).
If you set the duration as "Auto", when someone occurs in the view of the camera, it will start recording a video for up to 3 minutes.

Won't take a charge
I got this for my mom for Christmas. It worked for a while but when the battery ran low it wouldn't accept a charge and it won't turn on again.

Bought this feeder bec I liked the idea of a wooden feeder as opposed to the plastic bright colored feeders that don’t harmonize with surrounding landscape. Unfortunately, I found the design problematic. First, the wood quality is a little cheap, kind of a balsa wood feeling. The roof isn’t securely connected to the walls, and the whole thing doesn’t end up feeling very solid when you’re done with assembly. Also, contrary to the picture on Chewy’s site, the plastic “window” that contains the seed only comes up about 4”, about half the height of the walls that could theoretically hold the seed (the picture shows the plastic window about as tall as the feeder walls. As a result, the feeder holds only about half the birdseed it might otherwise hold with a taller plastic window, and the seed behind the small plastic window will be exposed to the elements through the 4-5” gap between the window and the roof, a problem if there’s a windy rainstorm. Also, the space below the window to distribute the seed runs wall to wall (rather than allowing only a smaller hole), so I imagine that seed may spill out the bottom too fast, given the lack of resistance. (I didn’t try it, so perhaps that’s doesn’t prove to be a problem.). The assembly instructions were quite clear, but left off at the point where you’re supposed to run the cable from the solar panel to the camera. One diagram in the instruction book seems to show the panel connected to the roof of the feeder, but that would limit flexibility catching the sun so not a great plan. Before getting back to Chewy for a refund (which they, of course, cheerfully offered), I tried calling the Coziwow helpline to see if there was any way to address my concerns with design, but the sound quality and deeply accented voice of the Coziwow helpline system made options difficult to understand/navigate. The system hung up on me as soon as I chose what I thought was “problem with existing purchase.” Sadly, I think, for now, the plastic feeders are your better choice.
