The bed was helpful in my elderly cats recovery after having seizures. She no longer jumps due to her medicine which makes her groggy and is a little unsteady at times. This bed has a higher back which supports her and keeps her off the hard ground . The unfortunate thing is that the first time I took the cover off to wash it I noticed the liner for the stuffing was ripped and coming out. We had to sew it back up. Also the purple padding inside is sub par. I had to spend more money and buy another padding to bulk it up. For the cost I expected more. We appreciate the handle on the back of the bed which helps to move it. I am not saying don’t buy it but expect to make alterations to it to bulk it up and make it more comfortable for your pet.
