I’ve read the reviews about the smell, and I understand they’re not fans of the clean wooded bedding scent. For me, I prefer it over kitty litter or poop. This litter is amazing. It is not only much more tolerable of a smell than other options on the market, it has eliminated the gripe that led me to find a litter alternative: tracking. Zero tracking and dust. Trust me, I’m a neat-nick with wood floors. Our one cat somehow managed to track litter in a 2k sf. radius. No more. Done. I win, kitten does not.

So gross

I didn’t have any problems with the smell. It was fine for the first few days of scooping solids out and sifting the litter around (using a sifting litter box)

A week later though the litter turned into something nasty. Maybe the litter needs to be completely changed more often and if that’s the case this would work fine but then it’s not worth the price.
