Birds like it

And so do the squirrels and raccoons, so place your suet feeders with that in mind. A quality product consistently well-received by wild birds in my NE yard.

Winter Suet for the birds!

Thank you for stocking this - it is hard to find Winter suet locally. Note for others that complain about it melting- Suet cakes labeled “Treat” are for winter

Thank you for stocking this - it is hard to find Winter suet locally. Note for others that complain about it melting- Suet cakes labeled “Treat” are for winter. These will melt in warmer climates, but the original “treat” formula is better for the birds. Suet cakes labeled “Delight” or “Dough” aka “No Melt” recipes are for warmer climates. In general, suet cakes should NOT be fed in summer, because the beef fat will melt and coat the birds wings and birds can even get it on their eggs (making them less permeable and thus unlikely to hatch). In winter, when bugs are not available, suet cakes offer a source of fat.

Bird suet

Seems to have a good variety of food in them. My wild birds look forward to new ones being available.

Last longer

I do put the in the refrigerator to keep it solid and easier to handle. The starlings do not seem to like it which is a good thing since they can go thru 2 blocks

Doesn't Survive the Heat

I've tried a lot of different suet cakes through the years but this one is the worst in hot weather. It melted into a hobby, stinking mess after less than 24 hours

Just awful

I was hoping these would be good, sadly they are just awful. They look bad, they smell weird, they melt in your hands and the birds won't touch them. I had to reorder

I was hoping these would be good, sadly they are just awful. They look bad, they smell weird, they melt in your hands and the birds won't touch them. I had to reorder some different ones right away. They look like chewed up corn mixed with hardened yogurt. Idk, but the birds really dislike them. Sorry C&S.
