The packaging is good, the product sticks together well and is easy to put in feeders. The trouble I had is that my wild birds would not eat it. I have feeders which I put in seed and as long as there was seed, they ignored these options. I placed one in a hanging feeder and one in a flat feeder and then removed all of the seed to see if they would eat. They did a little, but not much. Ordinarily I have to refill my feeders every couple of days. It has been over a week and these are still there. Perhaps I have the wrong birds, they are all little sparrows and finches.

Attracts the birds...and dogs!

The birds have been enjoying both the Peanut Dough and Berry Treat Suet. I get a variety of birds with both, although I'd say the woodpeckers are really attracted to the Peanut Delight. For handling purposes, the texture is different between the two. Peanut delight is dry in texture (perhaps too dry), whereas the Berry has more suet in the mix. Both perform well, holding their shape. They are easy to transfer from the package to the holder, and both are well liked by the birds. My dogs have been spending time below the feeder which is a new phenomenon. I suspect chunks of the peanut flavor are dropping when the birds peck and attracting the dogs.

Love's by birds and squirrels

They really like them, but so do the squirrels. The squirrels tear them up into tiny little pieces and the birds pick them up but I'm not getting them for the squirrels

They really like them, but so do the squirrels. The squirrels tear them up into tiny little pieces and the birds pick them up but I'm not getting them for the squirrels. The birds really do enjoy them, but they like the fruit ones more I've noticed. They say they're no melt but they do melt in your hands so be careful of that, otherwise they're great.

Feeding the birds isn’t complete without suet. The birds seem to wait for the next block and everything from cardinals to woodpeckers hang around to eat. The peanut blend is a little bit meaty on a hot day but the birds don’t seem to mind.

Bird watcher win!

I was so excited for this suet feed to come in. They are packaged nicely with no stickiness and won’t attract bugs in storage. I don’t have a suet cage feeder yet

I was so excited for this suet feed to come in. They are packaged nicely with no stickiness and won’t attract bugs in storage. I don’t have a suet cage feeder yet so I just put a block on my deck and the birds are already coming! I’m excited to get a cage holder to attract more birds!
