Is this kennel crash safe?

Dakota 283 has done internal testing of their kennels through a variety of impact testing including 25 feet drop testing for impact and durability. Their testing drives them to test to failure on most tests so that they know limitations and strengths. They have found that during these tests their performance met the specifications of impact and durability that they had hoped for.
What is door made of and is it airline approved?

The doors are powder coated steel; the kennels are not specifically airline approved but may meet many of their requirements for flying. We recommend checking with your airline to determine if it meets with their guidelines.

High Anxiety Escape Artist

I have struggled over a year with a very large dog that escapes and destroys every kennel I have bought. This is the first kennel that works. It is truly all one piece, good holes for air circulation and an excellent lock. Apollo hasn’t escaped and has actually been calmer with this kennel. I was looking to rehome and am so very relieved for an acceptable solution to the problem. It lessens my own anxiety in that respect as well. Appealing look, no assembly and a handle on top. Love this!

Well made high anxiety crate

Great for working dogs such as my Malinois. Don't waste your money on a cheap wire or regular flimsy crate. My boy injured himself on those cheap crates but this has solved the issue and he is much calmer in this crate. Will be buying another one for the car. I wish I bought one of these from the start..

high quality, fits in our car

We got this crate for our 45lb keeshond to secure him in the car. We needed something that was at least 25" tall but also narrow so that we could use one of the 3rd row seats in our SUV. This crate fits the bill--our pup can comfortably sit and look out, and he's snug and comfy when he lies down. The door closes securely and doesn't rattle while driving. The lock is nice so we can keep the lift open but not worry about anyone walking off with him. It's quite heavy, I wouldn't want to be moving it around a lot. But it works great for our use case!
