A winner!!
My four cats have liked this tuna and salmon in aspic for a long time. It seems consistent and everyone likes it, even though they usually prefer a pate food.
Our cats love this
We are not able to find this locally and Chewy's had it available and for a good price. Our cats love the Dave's Naturally canned foods.
My cats all like it
Getting all of my cats to agree on one cat food is a struggle, but when I open a can of Tuna and Salmon Aspic they all clean their bowls. And my cats are picky eaters.
Dreadful smell
Cats ate this food which I’m sure is healthy, but the odor of rotting fish permeates the entire room. Reminds me of cat food we used when i was a kid, the smell of which i assumed was eliminated by modern methods of preparation. I’m making use of remaining cans by giving them to the ferals who love them. Perhaps the other varieties dont have a such an overpowering odor but I’m not going to chance it with a purchase.
Great for my cat on a special diet.
The quality and the price are great. PLUS my cats both love this food. Keep up the great work, Dave! ;) Henry and Lucy are your biggest fans.

Good stuff. High protein. Nice texture. Everybody likes this one. My only complaint is that the can is difficult to open sometimes. (I open it with a can opener rather than using the pop top because the rim makes it too hard to crush the can for recycling.)
Overwhelming Stench
This food was recommended to me as an alternative to the Fussie Cat Tuna & Salmon in aspic that's been out of stock for the past 3 months. Great customer service experience, unfortunately, this brand of cat food is not even close in texture or quality. I have 1 cat with extreme allergies who took 1 sniff, stepped over it & tried to bury it. My other 2 cats who usually eat everything except chicken took 1 bite each & promptly threw it up. I passed the rest of the flat on to a friend with a warning about the smell & my blessing to toss it if their cat isn't a fan either. 0/10 would not recommend.
I won't even donate the unused cans of Tuna/Salmon
I agree with all of the neg reviews. Very smelly to the point of having to remove it from my kitchen after opening the first can. I forgot to remove it from autoship and now I am stuck with 47 unusable cans of food, that I am too embarrassed to even donate it to my local shelter, not to mention over $45.00 wasted. I have 8 cats and every one of them ran the minute they took a whiff. I do not see how this cat food passed quality control. it smells and looks like dark brown ground up un-refrigerated week old dead fish that was used in the product. I know some cats like fishy smelling foods, like some of my cats, but this odor was way beyond that usual smell. It is not in aspic, but rather a soupy brown substance that smells bad as well. I wouldn't call it gravy or aspic at all. If there had been a photo of what this looked like inside the can, i would not have purchased it. Maybe there are some cans of better quality, but I sure did not get those cans. All I can do is put them in the garbage and take a monetary loss. I agree that it would be nice to offer a 2-can sampler pkg before ruining my purchase experience over this. I have always had good service and good quality cat food with Chewy, but this neg experience left a bad taste in my cats mouths (even though they didn't even attempt to taste it after smelling it). Maybe I will switch to a more known brand and get turkey instead of fish. Despite this adventure, Happy Thanksgiving or whatever you celebrate being thankful for during these days!!!
Not so much
My 6 cats did not care for this cat food, they wouldn't even finish it. I bought this brand because there wasn't much to choose from in stock. Maybe your cat will like it though.
