This variety contains approximately 0.11% Phosphorus content on an as fed basis (0.50% on a dry matter basis). It is intended for cats who require a low-phosphorus diet, this Restricted Diet Phosphorus Formula contains low levels of phosphorus, and higher than normal amounts (for the standard "prescription" renal diet) of animal-based protein.

What is the Ash and Magnesium content? Why isn’t it on the label?

If your cat has CKD and you do your research- it’s Magnesium that they have to be low on- Do your research- don’t just Buy into a “Prescription Diet” there is No

If your cat has CKD and you do your research- it’s Magnesium that they have to be low on- Do your research- don’t just Buy into a “Prescription Diet” there is No Medication in that food At All!! It just Restricted! Would you rather your pet have Animal By products ( which, can be Any Animal- Any By Product! Dave’s List the animal protein and it’s 1St on the list!! Research!

pretty dry

this food probably works for some cats. my three kits weren't super into it, but I have a lot of it so I'm mixing it in with other foods. so...pretty usual for trying

Hard soft food

This stuff is nearly solid in the can, hard to dig out and even when I half and half it with tastier junk food they are not keen to eat it. Makes me wonder why anyone

We have to add purified water to every serving and work to get the pate moist enough for our cats. Too much work at every feeding. Would not buy again. Dave needs to improve this formula with sufficient Moisture or healthy oils.

I have 3 fur kids that all have urinary issues like FIC. They were eating Forza which they loved, however Forza urinary was back ordered everywhere I looked. I saw

I have 3 fur kids that all have urinary issues like FIC. They were eating Forza which they loved, however Forza urinary was back ordered everywhere I looked. I saw this in a local store & gave it a shot. All 3 love it. I do agree that it is very dense, so I add warm water. Cats need hydration, so this isn’t a big deal IMO. When Forza urinary was back in stock, none of them would eat it, so my guess is that they changed the formula. Thankful to have Dave’s.

Good Urinary Diet Cat Food

My cat had a serious urinary blockage from crystals and had to be hospitalized. I was advised to switch to wet food that promotes urinary tract health to prevent

My cat had a serious urinary blockage from crystals and had to be hospitalized. I was advised to switch to wet food that promotes urinary tract health to prevent blockages going forward. I did not like the poor quality ingredients in the prescription diet brands that were recommended so found this one and the ingredients are excellent to support this issue. I add extra water to make it more moist. My cat loves the food and he is doing well now.
