My dog’s veterinarian recommended this because he gets itchy skin and lesions on his belly from allergies. I only use this on the affected areas and use his regular shampoo on the rest of his body, it seems to help him.
I am looking forward to using this shampoo on my beagles. They have some grass allergies and develop rashes and irritated patches. I am really hoping it helps.
This is the only shampoo I've found that stops the itching & licking on my Bichon! Just ordered my 2nd bottle, will definitely purchase more.
I used this shampoo only once on my dog and omg it works. Highly recommend
Our dog Ford has problems with his skin and this works wonderful to clear it up.
This cleared up my girl's skin allergy breakout after one use. She feels and looks so much better! I tried using the medicated wipes from the vet and they didn't work as well. I definitely recommend this shampoo to fellow pet parents!
Like the product. Helps with her skin not being so dry
We have three large dogs with skin issues, so yeast and fungus are a common problem in our house. Our vet recommended bathing them with chlorhexidine or ketoconazole to keep those issues at bay, and that seems to do the trick. We’ve used Duoxo Chlorhexidine shampoo pretty much exclusively, but I gave this one a try because the price was nice and we go through a LOT of shampoo. I didn’t love this one for a couple reasons: the fragrance is kind of gross (think old church lady) and it’s incredibly runny so you end up using way more than you need to. The verdict? If you need to use chlorhexidine long term, spring for Duoxo. You pay more up front, but you use less. It also doesn’t make your dog smell like your grandma. Don’t get me wrong...if you’re looking for something short term or are on a tight budget, this does the job just fine. It’s just not what I prefer.
It helped some..I was impressed by it..but I have to bath my cinnamon every other day to give her a really good relief.. Jeanerette
Smells great, but, if you have a big floofy 100 lb German Shepherd like me, the small 12 oz bottle is only enough for one bathing. I will have to buy the larger bottle advertized for horses.
