How do you get the back paws done? It appears that only the front paws would get filed.

True. This works on the front only. But, it works good! Their front paws are more sensitive and difficult to trim.

How often do you need to replace the pad? Does this come with replacement pads?

The treats go in the side. Scratch Square is a hollow rubber toy, so you can put as much food or treats as you would like to fill it up. As your dog scratches them out and moves them around, the food will dispense out. Smaller items are easier and larger items will be more of a challenge.

Nearly there

My pup took to it immediately without even adding treats. Which is good because the treats/food fall out so easily. She enjoys digging at it and it definitely files

My pup took to it immediately without even adding treats. Which is good because the treats/food fall out so easily. She enjoys digging at it and it definitely files her nails, however, the surface is much smaller than expected so it didn't work as well as I hoped. I ordered based on her size and I'd still say its much too small. If i was to reorder I'd definitely size up 1-2x. But for these prices it really should be bigger. She does enjoy it tho!

Microscopic- but useful

I have a <10 lb mini goldendoodle puppy so I ordered the small based on size recommendations. While she does play with it and it keeps her occupied for a short period

I have a <10 lb mini goldendoodle puppy so I ordered the small based on size recommendations. While she does play with it and it keeps her occupied for a short period of time, it is so tiny that it really doesn’t do much to keep my dogs nails trimmed. For the price a bigger size would have been helpful and appreciated.

good but mine is defective and the holes are big

My chihuahua mix took to it right away and it’s perfectly tiny for him so for that 5stars.. but for $35 it shouldn’t be defective. It the photo you can see the scratching

It the photo you can see the scratching pad can be taken out by my dog nail where the other side isnt like that. Additionally the holes are really big so i cant use training treats i have to put large treats in there
