My dog loves them, we haven't tried them long enough to see if they really work as the vet said it could take months. I do find them hard to split evenly, and since my dog gets a half of a treat every day I have to be careful not to let the whole thing crumble when I split it.

I came across PEA looking through the human literature for something to help with my dogs chronic pain and found this is the only product in the US that uses ultra micronized PEA. We went through a jar and his symptoms were greatly reduced so I thought I’d try a non-micronized version from a reputable brand for humans. I even adjusted the dose based on the literature for the non-um form but his symptoms returned. A few days back on the Redonyl and he’s back to himself. His vet is onboard after being shown the literature and seeing how well he’s doing.
Finally something worked
My vet recommended these with a pro biotic for my lab with such itchy stinky ears. She ended up with hematoma in ear and had to get it drained x2. This worked
My vet recommended these with a pro biotic for my lab with such itchy stinky ears. She ended up with hematoma in ear and had to get it drained x2. This worked so good within a few days. There is no meat in it either. She is also allergic chicken. GREAT WONDERFUL PRODUCT!!!!!!!
They do what they should
My poor boy is allergic to everything. In addition to his shots and other treatments his allergist suggested this supplement to help treat his systems.

Not sure it’s helping
Graham has only been on these for a week or so, but they don’t seem to be helping. We will continue to the jar is empty and go from there.

Didn't seem to help

Making my dog sick

My dog has a history of Mast Cell Tumors and will be having her fourth surgery to remove a new tumor at 12 years old. Our vet recommended this supplement at two chews per day. Immediately, it made her vomit and have upset stomach and nausea within an hour of taking redonyl. We discontinued it to help rule out other causes for her upset symptoms and she got better, even with taking the rest of her meds. No more vomiting. Because of the importance of the assistance this supplement might have in my dog’s health, our vet and I decided to slowly add it back into her regiment. We tried giving her one chew instead of two, but after only a little while, it started making her vomit and have diarrhea. The chews themselves are easy to split in half, but NOT palatable. They have a very strong and nauseating smell as soon as you open the jar. My dog refused to take them on her own, so I had to administer them down her throat, as I do other pills, so we know it’s not the administration that’s making her sick, but the ingredients in this chew. It’s really unfortunate because our vet recommended this supplement and I want to do everything in my power to help my furbabe feel and be healthy again. I might ask chewy if I can return the supply I purchased, otherwise, I would donate the rest to our vet if my dog can no longer handle this supplement.
Tasty
I gave these to my two dogs with allergies. Sadly, I never noticed any difference in their scratching. They could work well for your dog, but they didn't for mine

Smells
Our Great Dane is picky and he leaves these in his bowl and doesn’t like the smell or taste. I have to crumble them up and add a treat to his dry food to get him
Our Great Dane is picky and he leaves these in his bowl and doesn’t like the smell or taste. I have to crumble them up and add a treat to his dry food to get him to eat the supplemental. It has dried out the hot spots and helped them to heal better.
