This is a favorite thrush treatment at the retirement ranch my 30 year old mare is at. I had a hard time finding it last year and am very glad to see Chewy is now selling it. I would give it five stars except for the fact it stains hands and clothes. The color does allow to see exactly where you are putting it which is helpful.

This is the only stuff I trust for killing thrush. It's not as harmful as copper- based products and gets the job done on the first go. I live in Florida, so I always keep this stuff on hand. The plus side is that the hooves don't have to be polished clean for this to work, unlike most products. If I'm ever in a hurry, but smell thrush, I can quickly apply it without doing a perfect clean and know it's going to work. The only downside is that the purple will stain whatever it touches, but that's a small price to pay.
