Unlike my old plastic box that would trap smells and scratched over time, this one should stay fresh with a quick wipe or rinse. Assembly was simple. The upper rim snaps on securely and does an impressive job keeping litter inside the box rather than scattered across the floor. Even with an enthusiastic digger, the mess is minimal. The size is generous, the build feels solid, and the sleek design actually looks good in the corner of a room. It is a well-made product.

The box is much easier to scoop out too. The smooth bottom makes it easier to scoop and things don’t stick to it like on the plastic bottom litter boxes. A win all the way around.

The box is big enough for my adult cat to move around and the walls are high enough for no spills of urine. It also came with a step pad, which is nice even though I don’t use it. Wish that the box had a hood with handle so I can carry the entire litter outside to dump it.

I put training pads inside of it hoping it would work, and so excited to see that he has been using it several times now. Fingers crossed he will make this a habit. Potty training has been a nightmare with this stubborn boy of mine.
