Tea tree oil is known for its antifungal and antibacterial properties, and possibly for its antipruritic, anti-inflammatory, and antiparasitic effects. This is safe for dogs in small dosages.

Is this leave-on conditioner or rinse off?

GREAT PRODUCT FOR SKIN

Excellent!

My Chinese Crested struggles with yeast and the resulting blackened (almost leathery but not elephant skin) skin in her tuck-ups, privates and insides of back legs

My Chinese Crested struggles with yeast and the resulting blackened (almost leathery but not elephant skin) skin in her tuck-ups, privates and insides of back legs and occasionally in her front armpits. The DERMagic products were recommended to me and so far, I am pleased with them. I like the smell of the conditioner and although the smell doesn't last long, my dog's hair (and naked SKIN) actually feels conditioned when she comes out of the bath. She doesn't have much hair and doesn't get tangled but this conditioner would also help with detangling and could be diluted in water to make a detangling/dematting spray. I buy two bottles of conditioner for every one bottle of shampoo.
