Food is good - packaging, not so much
By seefleur on Feb 16, 2021
Our dog is fine with the contents of the can, but the case of cans showed up with multiple cans severely dented. Out of the dozen, more than half were badly dented. Disappointing. The can that I opened didn't seem to have any leakage, but still... if humans aren't supposed to eat from cans that have been damaged, should a dog? Probably more the fault of the delivery service, but the case came in a larger box with nothing to keep it padded.

Didn't agree with my dog
By Chaplin on Jan 16, 2021
After giving my 10 year old Shepherd mix dog this food, she wouldn't eat it until she finally gave in from starvation. After eating it, it made her puke. I tried it a few days later with the same exact results. She doesn't have a sensitive stomach history nor is she overly picky. I then gave it to my sister's dog, around the same age, and he seemed fine with it and enjoyed it. What sucks is, I bought a lot due to the free shipping incentive when you spend a certain amount. No more using Chewy on items yet to be approved by my dog

VERY DISAPPOINTED
By Bklyncowgirl on Jan 14, 2021
This should be called "gravy with some meat-like chunks". Compared to other chunky canned food this is almost a third gravy. The solids make up almost the remaining 2/3 rds. I say almost as the can is not full to the top. I only use 1/2 can of the canned food to top dress the dry I also feed. I'll be going back to a better quality canned product. I'm very disappointed with Purina.

Dogs love this product

I have always used Purina products for all my dogs, they enjoy them all. This has plenty of gravy so I don’t need to add anything to it and they look forward to their eating time

WOOF WOOF YUMMM_MMM
By Pippit on Dec 5, 2020
My owner (she thinks she is the master), had hard time finding my favorite canned food PURINA DOG CHOW WITH REAL BEEF IN SAVORY GRAVY --- no matter how much I whimper, just sit and look sat, she finally wised up and joined CHEW. Her first order was Hartgard and next was my food. The order came within 10 days and now I'm happy, full of good food and please don't stop carrying this product.

Hmmm , what next
By Robn on Jan 10, 2021
I have alway bought Alpo prime cuts or lamb as a topper for my dogs, but availability became a problem. I suppose this is good but at twice the price I don’t see it.

"Mikey Likes IT!---HEY MIKEY"

Readers: I have a 16 year old mixed breed, from a shelter, dog who shares my life. To say she is spoiled is the Years Understatement{she turned DOWN some cooked soup bone and meat last night}! Dog food; another Issue. If its wrong, she looks at it and walks away, with the Idea, 'well today is ruined, lets see of tomorrow'. Her usual brand is not in stock, the ChiCom flu is the pat answer for ANYTHING that goes wrong in commerace. So, on just a hunch, I tried some of this. And, wonders of the world, she likes it and eats it. She likes it MORE than cat food! So, I have some dog food that is healthy, not from China, and she likes. SPOILED BLACK LAB
By BigAl on Sep 4, 2020
In the eight years we have had him we have spent a bunch of money to try to make him happy. We tried a lot of different dry foods and he didn't like any of them. Went to wet and after a long time we found one that he liked. And then we couldn't get it any more so we was told that this one was very good. Well our baby really loves it and cleans his plate every day. So I hope this one will be on the market for a long time.

Dogs love this canned food!
By Gerri on Aug 26, 2020
I have two German Shepherds, one 2 yr old and one 13 yr old. I give them each a can in the evenings on top of their dry food. They love this can food! It is a special treat for them. And they get their real treats every morning with their vitamins. I have told friends and family and they all order through Chewy.com now. It started out with buying Gentle Giants dog food. Then we found so many more things. We love Chewy.com!
