Our Aussie went through surgery, a long recovery, a cast, then a badly cut foot pad after the cast came off: during those months her fur became dry and course to the touch. I searched for a leave-in product, reading reviews, and decided to try this first. ("Semplice, Dog Fashion, skin + coat lotion") While it was being shipped, I gave Gracie her normal comb-out then bath, conditioner, and next day raked her undercoat out well. She was ready; when the cream arrived, I applied it moderately by hand all over (not light, not too heavily) and brushed it in with her soft, boar bristle hair brush. It exceeded my hopes! She was very noticeably softer, smoother, and (bonus) even had way less wild looking 'fly-away' fur after that first application. Now all I do is put a little ofthe cream on that soft brush. It keeps her soft, she's not greasy, and she's getting shinier now too. She's my soft dog again, and I can bury my face in her fur without it bothering my sneazy nose. She smells very mildly pleasant. Even my hands were not greasy feeling, I was surprised. Very nice, fluid cream to work with, not a single complaint, plus Gracie doesn't pull away from it.

My pups enjoy this conditioner as it rubbed into their skin and fur. The scent is mild, and the dogs seem relaxed after it is applied. It is not really thick and can be reapplied as needed. My only complaint is that it doesn’t deeply moisturize; the formula could be a little thicker and richer.

Works like magic

My havanese dogs had dry flaky skin that would cause hair loss. I applied this liberally on them every day for a week straight. Their skin problems have disappeared

After a few uses both of my dogs have hot spots. Maybe it’s just a coincidence but when I stopped to use this item, hot spots were gone.
