Buy it, totally worthwhile.

We buy a bandana every spring and use it in addition to our heartworm and flea/tick prevention. Since the flea/tick prevention only works once a tick has bitten,

We buy a bandana every spring and use it in addition to our heartworm and flea/tick prevention. Since the flea/tick prevention only works once a tick has bitten, we add this as a supplemental item. It works phenomenally well, we never have issues. In past, I've even used it on its own. My dog is a magnet for ticks and mosquitoes and this is a lifesaver. I even put one on my hiking backpack to keep the bugs away from me. Buy it.
