The Palace Central Heater is exclusively designed for use in our larger houses, the Dog Palace, RB Palace and CRB Palace. They secure easily to the houses’ triangular window frames and feature a digital display you can control with a remote or your smartphone, when WIFI enabled. The Palace Floor Heater is designed to add warmth to Dog Palace’s smallest house, the DP Hunter.

The raised floor is sloped and has a drain hole to make cleaning easy—just hose it down and water runs out.

Can the DH heater be attached to this dog house?

The FHS-40 small heating pad is the only heating product that should be used with this house.

Is it waterproof and is the roof and floor insulated or just the walls?

This Dog House is weatherproof. It is constructed from LLDPE resin inside that is UV-8 protected and outside walls with foam (Styro/EPS) inside. The roof is not insulated with foam

Will this keep a dog warm without a heater when outside temps drop below 40?

This dog house features up to 4 inches of real foam (Styro/EPS) insulation in each panel. At an outside temperature of 40 degrees the insulated Dog Palace will be 70 degrees inside. At an outside temperature of 0 degrees the insulated Dog Palace will be 30 degrees inside.

Can the door be removed? Can bottom half of door be remit?

The bottom portion of the door may be temporarily removed.

This is the third one I have purchased.

I use these for my outside farm cats. They love them. Keeps them warm. Easy to put together and the cats have no problem using the swinging door.

Puurfect house for my kitties

We bought one of these for my mom's cats. They love it! If is is raining or cold, they are inside. We did purchase a heating pad for when the temperature drops

Do not buy/ Zero stars

I purchased this to keep a feral cat warm during winter in Texas. According to the manufacturer this insulated house will be approximately 30 degrees warmer than

I purchased this to keep a feral cat warm during winter in Texas. According to the manufacturer this insulated house will be approximately 30 degrees warmer than the outside temperature. The uninsulated version only stays about 4 degrees warmer. My outside thermometer is currently showing 20 degrees outside and about 24 degrees inside the supposedly insulated house. This is so upsetting that I will be contacting the manufacturer immediately. I am not sure if my cat will survive the night, because this house is cleary not insulated the way the manufacturer states.
