I see you need to dig down 48 inches for this, what do you put in the empty space below the can to keep it from sinking down? Do you pour gravel in?
Answer by • Jul 29, 2021
The Doggie Dooley can be used in all 48 continental united states, as long as your yard is eligible for this item's installation. To see if a Doggie Dooley will be effective in your yard, dig a hole approximately 1 foot wide by 2 feet deep. Pour approximately 5 gallons of water in the hole, and then check the hole in 24 hours. If water is completely drained, you have fairly sandy soil and a pyramid style Doggie Dooley is recommended. If there is still standing water, check again after 48 hours. If the water is gone, you can use either the tank or pyramid styles of Doggie Dooley. If after 48 total hours there is still standing water in the hole, a Doggie Dooley will not be an effective waste management system in that location of your yard.
I have (2) 150-pound dogs will this be large enough for them and does it work during the winter in Michigan
Answer by • Jun 17, 2021
The Doggie Dooley can handle the waste of up to 2 large or 4 small dogs. If you would like to use in a larger capacity in order to accommodate more dogs, simply install multiple units and distribute the waste among them. The Doggie Dooley is a biological product and relies on Mother Nature; waste is broken down by bacteria in our environment which typically works only with some amount of heat. Doggie Dooley is not designed to be used in the winter when the air temperature is consistently below 40 degrees Fahrenheit. You do not need to remove the unit from the ground, but do not add stools to it during the winter. Simply allow the system to sit dormant until spring time when you can resume normal use.
Hands free? We just put in ground and don't have to do anything? Or do we pick up waste and drop in it?

You will need to shovel stool into the system and add water along with Doggie Dooley Waste Terminator Tablet, once a week to break down the dog waste. It can hold the waste of up to two large dogs or four small dogs.
What happens to the liquid waste? Does it dissolve or does it require dumping? How big is the steel receptacle?
Answer by • Jun 13, 2021
The liquid waste will drain into the soil. This system does not require to be drained. If dormant during the winter it is recommended to start original startup process once ready to use again. This disposal system is 15 inches high, with a tank diameter of 13-3/4 inches. The overhang dimensions measure approximately 16 inches in diameter. To install, you will need to use a post-hold digger and dig a hole, as deep as you can, with a recommended depth of at least 48 inches.
