My dog, Bodee, and I walk every day on sidewalks through town; and I used Doctor Doolittle paw balm on his paws to help with any dryness or cracks. I also use it on the pressure spots on his elbows. I’ve bought this paw balm a handful of times. It works great.

Natural ingredients

I was looking for something with the least amount of ingredients. It seems nice but my dog runs off if I try to put it on her. I hope to ease her into it. I suggest

I was looking for something with the least amount of ingredients. It seems nice but my dog runs off if I try to put it on her. I hope to ease her into it. I suggest applying it outside since it’s somewhat greasy and could stick to the carpet. The texture could be a little softer for easier application. I set it in the sun but that didn’t make much of a difference. It softens upon contact with the pad, but it’s aggravating getting it out of the container.

Easy to apply, not greasy. Stays on pads beautifully and really seems to penetrate the rough, cracked areas. I also applied to one of our dog's patchy elbow irritations,

So when you first get it -- the wax is really hard to get because it is harder and so packed into the bottle. However, after a couple of uses, it softens a bit and

So when you first get it -- the wax is really hard to get because it is harder and so packed into the bottle. However, after a couple of uses, it softens a bit and is easier to use. Overall, my dog has had softer paws and no bad reaction. Also, sometimes he will lick his paws after trying to get it off but it seems to stay on and he doesn't get sick from it.
