This receiver box (electronic part) itself is 3.5 inches in length, 2 inches wide including contact points, just receiver box portion is 1.5 inches. The strap is 26 inches in length and 1 inch wide.

Dogstra is the best

I can't use an inground collar system so this is a godsend. Works where the others don't--I inherited an older undisciplined dog and he responds very well now.

Don’t forget to turn it!

The e-collar works, but don’t forget to turn it while on the dog’s neck. My dog got a sore from the prong, so had to remove the collar for awhile.

Start on a low setting and set positive corrective association for your dog

Excellent device for high drive, working breeds; low setting is effective to start; one week in with short 15-20 minute freedom and training sessions and commands

Excellent device for high drive, working breeds; low setting is effective to start; one week in with short 15-20 minute freedom and training sessions and commands my dog already knows have been solidified with less response time. After low setting combination of command with collar engagemen, your dog will start responding more readily to the command alone and the collar system will become a nice to have back up. Looking forward to trying this device with longer range. Would recommend over cheaper options that might seem appealing but can't compare in terms of hardware durability, safety for the pet, and corrective exactness.

Has worked really well to help our rough collie through her “teenager” phase. My husband calls the collar her hearing aids. This is our second Dogtra and we like the brand. Took a little time for me to understand when the collar needed charging. Only other complaint is getting the collar on with a good connection through our dogs thick fur. That is a breed specific problem though.

All dog trainers I know use this brand. I gave it four, instead of five, due to the weight of the unit on his neck. He is almost six months old and a Rotty, so it’s not a huge issue, but you do need to check it to make sure it is not on his throat. The color is huge! This is my second one. I borrowed a smaller one for two months. Don’t over use them, read training suggestions.

Gave my Rottweiler Hotspots

I used this collar for 3 day on my 1 year old Rottweiler it gave him Hotspot all over his neck. Spent to 170 buck on a high end water proof e collar, costed me over

I used this collar for 3 day on my 1 year old Rottweiler it gave him Hotspot all over his neck. Spent to 170 buck on a high end water proof e collar, costed me over $400 in vet bills! Not to mention horrible pain and discomfort to my big puppy. BUYER BEWARE! I FOLLOWED THE INSTRUCTIONS. Just horrible
