I received the Dogtra ARC-X remote training collar and was able to easily put it together--it fully charged within 2 hours. I used it on my 60 lb Belgian Malinois who was already familiar with an e-collar, so I only had to learn how to use the handset, which was relatively easy using the online handbook. There are quickstart directions in the box, which are minimal. I liked the contact points that were on the device itself--they were a nice length, not too long, not too short. The collar design is nice that it is adjustable for pretty much any size of dogs' neck . The handset is lightweight, but the controls are such that the controls are tightened enough so you have less of a chance to make a mistake in administering any kind of nick to your dog if you don't intend to. The controller is well marked, so you know if you are administering a tone or a nick, for example, and it also can be used to control up to three dogs ( have to purchase additional collars). All in all, a well rounded device that can be used on mid tempered dog. I like that it comes with the online instruction manual, and it also has an online training manual for those who have no experience with stimulation collars, so you can go back to the manual for reference.
