Inconsistent - hurt my dog

My dog was using levels 2-5 (out of 100) until he yelped/jumped in pain. I checked the remote, and the level was correct (the red button was set to only increase

My dog was using levels 2-5 (out of 100) until he yelped/jumped in pain. I checked the remote, and the level was correct (the red button was set to only increase the level by 2, so I know I didn’t accidentally zap him with a high level). I thought it might have been a fluke or he was just surprised, but I decided to put the e-collar training on hold for a while. I started again, and the yelp/jump happened again. I tested it on my own hand using level 15, and the shock intensity went in and out to varying degrees - at times completely nonexistent and others increasing higher and higher. I don’t trust this product to not harm my dog!

Most feature packed of any dogtra remote

Title says it all Specifically this remote is the only remote that I know of the has “profiles” for each dog.
