Easy to install and hook up. The fur kids are staying put and highly respect the boundaries. However I found the wire sent in the kit is rather subpar, it's strands of copper wire wrapped in the sheath rather than a solid copper wire as other brands have. I purchased another brand of wire that doesn't break as easily and am very please with the system.

Receiver failed in less than 6mo. I bought the dogtra, having been fooled into thinking it was a better product by their higher price tag and marketing, mainly looking for a waterproof collar. Wishing now I would’ve saved 100 and gotten a lesser known brand. Customer service is barely adequate, no paid postage on warranty repairs, no troubleshooting advice (probably a failed battery but I’ll never know), slow turnaround time, then you get a repaired or replacement collar that’ll carry a 90 DAY WARRANTY! That’s right folks, the remainder of my 1 year warranty (slightly over 6 months) has been reduced to 90 days because their low quality product needed to have warranty repairs. Unbelievable, literally unbelievable that a company like this is still in business.

So far this system has been working. My dog caught on after it shocked her one time then we switched it to only vibrate so she knows that it is warning her. My girlfriend cried a little when it shocked the dog but now she doesn't have to be shocked again. Only problem is the only extra collars that I can find are over $100. I have a puppy that I want to be able to use this system later when he is older but I don't know iF I want to pay another $100 for another collar.
