Puppy Fail

I received this toy today & gave it to my 5 month old puppy due to the fact it looked sturdy, double stitched but was puzzled with the material in between the layers

I received this toy today & gave it to my 5 month old puppy due to the fact it looked sturdy, double stitched but was puzzled with the material in between the layers of stitching that showed. Within 10 minutes I noticed she seemed like she was chewing on something other than the toy & found in her mouth what looked like card board. This is what the material in between the stitching looks like & sure enough some of the card board material had been moistened from her mouth chewing & separated so I took the toy away from her & tossed it in the garbage. I do NOT RECOMMEND this toy & wa not worth the $16.99
