Too hard for my cats

I always try to find a variety of treats for my guys, to keep them interested. I like the freeze dried treats as they are more healthy, but these aren't like any

I always try to find a variety of treats for my guys, to keep them interested. I like the freeze dried treats as they are more healthy, but these aren't like any freeze dried I have gotten before (except for another brand this same order). These were Rock hard. The majority of my guys are seniors, and two have no teeth. The freeze dried they like is an almost puffy texture, like puffed cheetos. I used my heavy duty scissors to cut these into smaller pieces, and then soaked them, but that just didn't do it for them. They don't like wet treats. I was really disappointed. Their usual favorites has had the quality start to dip, so I I'm always up for trying new treats. I wouldn't recommend these for anyone looking for a true freeze dried textured treat. Just know you are ordering very hard, large for cats, treats.
