HOW DO YOU CLEAN POOP FROM GRASS TURF?

Any solid remains can be picked up and disposed of with a waste bag, the same as you would when on a walk, since the potty trainer simulates grass. You can also clean the turf as needed.

My puppy likes to chew up the wee wee pads. What's to prevent her from chewing on the edges of the grass turf?

The artificial turf used with this potty trainer is not toxic. It is recommended to monitor your pup while they're getting to know the product.

Does chewy carry the replacement pee turf/pads for this? Or do I always have to buy it with a tray?

Don't waste your money

I was suggested this by an employee in the chat, as I expressed I was having difficulty potty training my puppy. It felt like cheap quality plastic, and my dog

I was suggested this by an employee in the chat, as I expressed I was having difficulty potty training my puppy. It felt like cheap quality plastic, and my dog had no interest in it, other than to rip the grass mat apart. Don't waste your money. I believe crate training is the only way to go. We are still working on it, but he's very stubborn.

Not for us!

To be fair,our nine year old puppy mill rescue we've had for nine years was not at all interested in trying this. We were using puppy pads but she still had accidents

To be fair,our nine year old puppy mill rescue we've had for nine years was not at all interested in trying this. We were using puppy pads but she still had accidents in the house on the rug. We were just trying this as a last effort. We love Chewy and the service is always great.

Works well, could be better though.

We adopted an 8-week-old make beagle puppy a few weeks ago. We live in an apartment, so have used this as his potty area knowing he isn't supposed to get walks yet

We adopted an 8-week-old make beagle puppy a few weeks ago. We live in an apartment, so have used this as his potty area knowing he isn't supposed to get walks yet. It’s located in his play pen. He picked up on it pretty quickly and has done 90% of his business on the pad. However, we do have some negatives. He does occasionally like to bite at the corners. The turf/grass part is so thin. Also, I have yet to find a proper way to clean/maintain it. Sometimes I can tell his pee Is sitting on there for a while as his paws will get pee on them. Also, it's a bit tough to clean wet stool off of.

Too small and not well made

The tray under this mat doesn’t empty unless you tilt it. I have a different mat and tray that drains and the grass is soft and has gone through seasons outdoors

The tray under this mat doesn’t empty unless you tilt it. I have a different mat and tray that drains and the grass is soft and has gone through seasons outdoors for several years. I wanted another grass mat and this one is stiff and aiready shows a bit of shredding. Keep looking.

Highly recommend

My yorkie uses these when weather is not permitting us to go outside. I keep it in the garage. Keeps her from having any accidents and it's easy to clean.
