Was really easy to use. For the price I wish it was made of more durrable materials than plastic & that for the price it was big enough to hold a full dozen eggs. We buy hatching eggs by the dozen and only ended up with 4 chicks from 7 eggs and had no way to hatch the other 5. It was frustrating. But, the incubator worked perfectly for the eggs I was able to fit in it & the chicks are healthy. We never had any alarms go off, so it was pretty turn key. I would recimmend this for people with small personal flocks. I would buy the bigger model that holds a full dozen, if they make the price more reasonable, while increasing the quality. Say having a dome of glass and base made from stainless, fiberglass, carbon fiber, etc. We want products that last for a lifetime, not that could break from one little compromised plastic part giving out.

Bought this item for emergency need to incubate eggs from 2 new hens who would not sit on them. Could not find a small incubator locally. Have used it now 10 days. Temperature has stayed consistent, turns eggs on time and after 7 days of use, candling found 4 live chicks. It is not noisy. Easy to set up after figuring out how to read directions. Item shipped in 2 days.

Excellent Incubator

I had a 100% hatch rate with this incubator. The directions are super simple to follow and work well for hatching chickens. What impressed me the most was Brinseas

I had a 100% hatch rate with this incubator. The directions are super simple to follow and work well for hatching chickens. What impressed me the most was Brinseas customer service. When I received this incubator, it did not come with the 7 egg tray but the bantam 12 egg tray. I knew this was a mistake so I called Brinsea and they immediately sent me the correct tray. I offered to pay for it but they would not let me. I received the 7 egg tray in 2 days. Amazing company and wonderful products. I also recommend the Brinsea Ecoglow for keeping your chicks warm.

This is the perfect incubator! I have tried several Styrofoam types with turners and fans and have not found any that compare to the Brinsea. I love the ease of set-up and visibility of the eggs. Within 24 hours I had my first batch of eggs in ... and they are hatching today.
