Chicken meal is derived from cooking the flesh and organ meat of chickens. This process extracts the water, leaving a concentrated, highly-digestible source of protein and fat. Best Breed only uses low-ash chicken meal. Low-ash chicken meal is the highest quality chicken meal available and does not contain feathers, beaks, and other worthless by-product parts often found in commercial “premium” brands. Chicken Meal is a nutritious meat protein that is critical in providing quality sources of essential amino and fatty acids, vitamins and minerals required for muscle development and energy.
