Great feeder - every morning bluebirds come to get the mealworms, sometimes sitting in the bowl, protected from weather. It allows us to feed mealworms, finch food, sunflower chips to the smaller birds- without it being cleaned out by starlings and crows. We do have other food out fir them, but they leave this one for the little guys.

Great feeder! This replaced a very old one that was damaged when a large limb fell from our tree and hit it.

Great for really small birds
I feed several sizes of birds ranging from small finches up to blue Jays and large doves. Dome will rise a maximum of 4 inches above tray. Only the smallest of birds

Only the smallest of birds would be willing to fly between dome and tray. I placed this in a tree to make it easier for birds to access. So far the dome has scared away any bird trying to fly to the seed.
