Believe it or not, I still have a problem remembering Merlin’s name (I’m new to him). Seeing it on the “catizized” placemat helps me since I see it every time I feed/water him. Merlin likes to scratch his placemat before he eats his breakfast and this stands up to his habits and it doesn’t walk across the kitchen floor. The artwork is fun and colorful, and I highly recommend it!

It helps that it's sort of soft so that she will put her paws on it to get closer to the bowl. It's light weight and fun to have her name on it. It's the perfect size - just like a regular placemat.
