The Drymate washable pads are both leakproof and slip resistant, plus they are easy to clean. Rated 4 stars because during the hot weather we’ve had all summer, I can’t get my dog to lay on them. I’m guessing that the fabric top layer may be a bit warmer than the other cloth ones I purchased, which he prefers. However, this winter, when it’s cold in the house he just might prefer these. Right now, I’m using them underneath some too thin disposable pads to protect my hardwood floors, and they work great for this purpose!

I like that these potty pads can be easily cut for any size space, without fraying! This was a new concept to me. The material is good at absorbing, but since the backing is more of a plastic material, if any liquid gets under the pad as opposed to on top of it, it unfortunately isn’t helpful. The material on top is nice and soft for dogs and it makes for a good crate liner. I cut and used one of the pads for underneath our labradors water bowls and am very satisfied with its placement there! I would love this product more if it could be dried in the dryer, but still a good product that I am satisfied with.

Good size, does the job!

Our pittie mix rescue has never been able to be fully potty trained because of the trauma she went through so we have a dedicated spot in the basement she knows is safe. These pads have been a great addition to our routine and is much better for the environment then the throw away pads. First off the size is great, especially because two come in the pack. It covered a good chunk of space (see pic) material is a thin almost like first cheap apartment carpet material but it absorbed well! I was a little concerned it would fall apart after the first wash but it held up, just make sure you LINE DRY IT! It didn't hold onto oder which was great. My only thing is I wish it wasn't a dark grey because once the pee dries it is hard to tell if the pad has been used. I also put one of her regular potty pads next to it so she knew it was ok because I didn't want her to think the new pads were carpet.

Our lil yorkie poo, Stella, always potties on the edge of the disposable peepee pads thus creating a mess around n under them. We tried the disposable pad tray as well, but seeing she wasn’t trained early w its, she wouldn’t even walk on it, with or without the top grate. So we decided to try these larger washable pads to put UNDER the disposable pads to catch what the disposables cannot from her aiming issues. They are awesome! No more messes under or around the disposables and a quick power spray off outside w air drying n it’s ready for the next. They don’t slide easily, the disposables stay in place atop them without issue as well. I do machine wash them about every other week for a soapy deep clean, but in cold or warm n I air dry to preserve the waterproof backing. They also have proven useful between the mattress n sheet of our human w occasional overnight wetting. Overall, great product. I have 6 so far to make sure I have enough for human n animal needs.

The Drymate Washable Dog Training Pee Pads are just fantastic! My dog has a slipped disk and she cannot get up fast enough to make it to the door to go to the bathroom. These pads saved my floor from her constantly urinating on it. They absorb the urine quickly. I throw them in the wash and hang them to dry. I highly recommend them if you have a dog with urinating problems or even for puppies that are still in potty training. Thank you Chewy!

Not just for puppies, but senior dogs as well

These washable Pee Pads came in handy for my dog that was just diagnosed with Cushing’s disease. They are much larger than disposable pee pads but can be cut down

These washable Pee Pads came in handy for my dog that was just diagnosed with Cushing’s disease. They are much larger than disposable pee pads but can be cut down to size. I put them between his pillow cover and the pillow, and the pillow has NOT been soiled since. So much easier to just wash the pee pad along with the pillow covering instead of the entire pillow. I have another on my hardwood floor which he likes to lay on. Since one side feels like felt and the other side feels like rubber, he lays on the soft side while my floor is protected from accidents.

A good option except for one thing in my case. I wish they could be dried in a dryer on low heat, since I don't have a place to hang them to air dry. Also air drying takes a while so you would definitely need more than two depending upon how fast you can get them to air dry while you have one in use. Other than the fact that they need to air dry they work pretty well. We had no leaks while using them. And I love the fact that they're better for the environment than something that is used then thrown into a landfill.

We started using washable/reusable pee pads, as the cost of disposable pads, not to mention the environmental impact, was great. These are interesting, because they have a rubber back on them that really makes them leak proof. Also, they washed up really well. I prefer these to the fabric style.
