What is a replacement chicken? This part confuses me.

Replacement chickens could mean any birds that are new to your flock or new to your farm. It could mean young pullets or a chicken you were given by a neighbor. Replacement chickens would also encompass day old pullets you purchased from a hatchery and you raise them to become your new “laying chickens”.
Is this OK to feed newly hatched guinea fowl (I hatched with chicks)?

This feed is formulated for chickens.
I have two Sebastopol geese with my chicks. Is this feed ok for them to eat as well? I have read geese should not have medicated and chicks need medicated. Surely I am not the only one who has raised them all together. It's impossible to keep them from easting each others food.

This feed is specifically formulated with amprolium and essential oils to develop an active immunity to coccidiosis in chicks.
Do I need to get chick grit to go along with this feed?

This can be fed continuously as the sole ration to replacement chickens up to 8 weeks of age.
